Chase the footstep of Kim Satgat  Kim Satgat Remains Site

When Nango Kim Satgat died at his age of 57 in 1863, he buried at Hwasoon Jeonra-do. After 3 years later, his second son Ikgyun changed the buried site to Norumok valley Hadong-myeon Yeongwol-gun. You can see the cultural world of Nango Kim Satgat at a sight in the Kim Satgat Remains site. Along with the grave and paternal home of Kim Satgat , there are the monument which is inscribed with a poem and street of literature. The Gokdongchun is proud of its clear and abundant water flow by the season to get popularity within the visiting tourists' families. At the entrance, there are Joseon Folk Art Museum and Muksan Art Museum.

*Traffic Guidance: Automobile : 27 km from Yeongwol downtown, takes 30~35 minutes. Urban bus- 5 trips per day from the Yeongwol bus terminal to Kim Satgat Remains Site. It is 6.2 km apart from the entrance to the Satgat village.
