The place of black-and-white painting Seondol

A large rock about 70m high is located on the Seogang River riverside that is Seondol. Seondol is called Sinseonam and has a picture-like view with a blue river and a rocky cliff. Seogang River flows between Seondol which stands grand at the gateway of Yeongwol, Sonagijae Summit Rest Place, to admire its magnificent view.

It was known as the location where the movie 'Gaeulro' was filmed and the wooden steps to the summit were prepared for children and the elderly and the feeble without destroying nature.

Travel Point: Seondol has characteristic views of four seasons. It’s good to see Seondol in the beginning or end of your trip to Yeongwol.
