Moving about 4km toward Yeonhari along route 38 from Yeongwol-eup, there is a road under railway bridge on the left. About 500m along this road, there is Yeonha cave toward northwest on the left from an individual house.
Yeonha cave was designated as local product #31 in February 26, 1980 to be preserved. The size of the entrance of Yeonha cave is 0.5m side and 0.5m high. The total length of the cave is about 200m, and the length of main path is about 100m. It's developed toward south and north. The cave is composed with 3 big spaces inside, and most of the paths are very narrow.
Also, small branched caves are developed complicatedly to connect each other. Inside the cave, stalactite, stalactite, curtain, and cave coral are growing beautifully. It proudly shows the most magnificent view of stalactite group found in the nation because in Yeonha cave, spike-type stalactites are concentrated and distributed on the ceiling of the cave. Various cave products such as soda straw, stalactite, stalagmite, stone pillar, Yuseok, resting stone, curtain, oyster, cave coral, curved stone, and cave's history are developing in Yeonha cave.
