Moving 3.3km toward Hadong-myeon along 88th county road from management office of Go's Cave, you will reach Daeya2-gyo. Going about 400m toward Daeya1-gyo(downsream) along Okdongcheon on the left of Daeya20gyo, Daeya cave is located across the river.
Daeya cave was designated as local product #32 in February 26, 1980 to be preserved. It's developed toward south and north. The size of the entrance of Daeya cave is 4m wide and 3m high. The total length of Daeya cave is about 450m, and the length of the main path is about 360m.
The main path is developed toward north-northeast, and it shows 2 story structure of the upper story and the lower story. Rich cave water are always flowing on the bottom of the cave. On the upper story of the cave, there is a small space inside the cave, and a little Falls and canyon are developed. On the lower story, a very narrow path was developed by cave water rapidly flowing on the bottom. Various cave formed creatures such as stalactite, stalagmite, stone pillar, Yuseok, curtain, and curved stone are beautifully growing inside the cave. Total of 25 species of cave animals were found in Daeya cave, and 3 species including have great academic values.
