Jucheon Samcheungseoktap is located on the bank of Jucheongang RIver flowing on the south of Jucheon Hall in Jucheon-ri. It's designated as Gangwon-do Cultural Assets Data #28. The present location is not where it used to be. It was located formerly about 3~5m toward southwest at the riverside. In the process of building the bank to prevent flooding of Jucheongang RIver, it was moved to the top of bank. According to a legend, it was not built in the precinct of the temple, but it was built as a guiding seoktap like 2 seoktaps in Jecheon and Mureung-ri for the people visiting Heungnyeongseonwon in Sajasan Mt..

The flat stone laid on the foundation on the lower part of the seoktap is composed of 2 stones. They were trimmed roughly. On the upper part of the flat stone laid on the foundation, 1 layer support is protruded. And lotus shape is carved by protruding the end of the layer. A stone on the foundation of the upper side is not the same stone with the laid flat stone. There are 4 round pillars, and between them, there are pillars of same width are placed each. The lower side of the laid flat stone is carved to an arc. The upper side of the laid flat stone have 1 layer of support and another layer in the middle toward the end. It's unique to have 2 wide supports. The body of the first floor, separate from roof stone, has only its round pillars protruded. Assuming from the size of roof stone on the first story, it doesn't seem to be the original one. The first story roof and the second story the body is of 1 stone. roof support is composed of 2 layers of hogak. However, unlike the first story roof, roofs of second and third stories have 1 layered roof support each without moldings. Water dropping side of the upper roof is steep, and so are 4 edges. Round pillars were protruded on each the body. roof of the second story and the body of the third story are of 1 stone, and on the top of roof of the third layer, there are the top layer of the tower and bokbal.
