Wu, Gujeong house is on the north of Folf Village in Witdeulgol maeul. It's located toward northwest after Deulgolgyo on the route 38 from Jecheon to Yeongwol.
The exact time of its establishment is unknown, but it's said to have been over 100 years old. It's a square shaped house composed of main building, reception room for male guests, and barn. main building forms a shape with living room and kitchen on the left and room opposite the main living room on the right with floor in the center. Old style tile was put on the roof. It's unique that it had used a round pillar for the center pillar of floor. reception room for male guests has 3gan in the front and 1gan in the side, and it shows a shaped form. reception room for male guests is composed of 1gan great gate, 2gan reception room for male guests on the left, and porch on all sides of the room.
foundation is about 90cm high, and it's built with a natural stone. Square pillars were put up on the support. It has a paljak roof with a single eave. barn was enlargeed later. Assuming from the overall structure of the house, it's a typical traditional commoner's house of Yeongseo area.
