Kim, Jonggil house forms ashape with shaped main building and shaped reception room for male guests on the plain lot surrounded by rice fields. It's known to have been built in 1827(27th year in the reign of King Sunjo).

The main building has upper room, living room, kitchen and reception room for male guests arranged in right angle on the left side, and main hall in the center. On the right side, room opposite the main living room and kitchen forms a shape. foundation is built in 1 layer of natural stone. Foundation is made with comparatively large natural stone that's trimmed a little, and a square pillar was used. roof is a single eave with Korean tile on it. It has a paljak roof. On the back side of living room and upper room, there is a porch of 2gan. It's a resting space and a working space for women with a terrace where soy sauce crocks are place. Kitchen storeroom, a storing space, was reconstructed in reception room for male guests, in front of kitchen. Also, a door was installed in front of main hall. Some parts were changed like that, but this house is preserved very well generally. reception room for male guests was built later. With its gate in the center barn was built on the left, and a large room and a kitchen on the right. This house also shows the typical form of commoner's house of Yeongseofat. In front of the front door of the house, about 10 foundation stones are lined to each side as gwansangseoks. There is a totem pole on the right and epitaph of Kim, Jonggil traditional house on the left. Pieces of earthenwares with no shape were collected in the dry field near Kim, Jonggil house.
