The director, Park Changap has utilized the abandoned closing school to present sculpture and attract the attention of local sculptors to Yeongwol
In outdoor exhibition hall, more than 10 countries sculptor's work are presented. Possessing more than 300 pieces of works from various countries, museum presents the work interchangeably to giving refreshes.

There is a road to the Byeolmaro Astronomical Observatory in the back of building. If you visit the museum first and go to the Observatory at evening would be doubling the pleasure of travel.
